「仕事です」「休みです」の英語での言い方 - have work, have a day off, be off【日常英会話】

みなさんこんにちは。

今週末のクラスで練習するとても重要なことの１つとして、基本的な表現を使ってスケジュールについて話す方法を今日はご紹介します。

have work / 仕事

have a day off / 休日

be off / 終業

[例文]

  1. I have work tomorrow, so I can’t drink a lot tonight.
    (私は明日仕事なので今夜はたくさん飲めません)

  2. I have a day off on that day, so anytime is ok!
    (私はその日休みなので何時でも大丈夫です)

  3. I’m off today and tomorrow, do you feel like doing something?
    (私は今日と明日は休みですが何かやりたい事はありますか？)

「have a day off」は「have a holiday」よりもはるかに自然ですので覚えておいて下さい。

Here are some examples:

Please remember that “have a day off” is much more natural than “have a holiday”,
